Greetings Flat Rock Family and All Stakeholders,

I am Ms. Ebonie K. Johnson, proud assistant principal of Flat Rock Elementary School housed in Stonecrest, GA. I began here at Flat Rock almost 10 years ago as a 3rd grade Reading and Science teacher. I then went on to teach 1st grade, Reading and English Language Arts as well as Kindergarten, all subjects. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southern University and A&M-Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a Master of Counselor Education with a specialization in School Counseling from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette and Master's in Business Administration from Argosy University, Atlanta. I am a product of the Dekalb County School District, graduating in the top 10% of my class, from Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, GA. I am also a mother to a wonderful daughter who is an honor roll student in the 5th grade. Flat Rock’s mission is maintaining high expectations and providing an environment conducive to learning in which all students can maximize their potential and compete in the global academic arena. I am so excited to support the faculty and staff in carrying out the mission and vision of Flat Rock Elementary.
